Tesla Global Vehicle Readiness

At Tesla, I conducted UX research to justify business cases and drive collective change in changing quality procedures. From my findings, I helped develop and implement productive changes in quality procedures, engineering processes, and vehicle design.

Overview

 

For their third and fourth financial quarter of 2018, Tesla, an American electric vehicle and clean energy company, sought to ramp up its production and delivery of its Model 3 vehicles.

With the company’s increased output, came a greater number of manufacturing errors that led to downtime, which cost money and threatened Tesla’s image as a high-quality automobile brand. Further, with a greater number of cars being produced, there were greater chances of damage during transport and delivery of Tesla’s vehicles.
